Research Abstract

"高次機能調和材料創成の原子・分子プロセツッシング"研究目標、及び、研究計画に沿って、平成9年度より研究をスタートした。本年度は5年目となる。
研究体制は、1)生体指向高感度センサ・メモリ材料グループ、2)エネルギー・環境調和材料グループ、3)医療・高齢化ナノ材料グループ、4)コンピュータ支援材料設計、極微プロセッシンググループからなり、平成13年度それぞれ以下の成果が得られた。
〔生体指向高感度センサ・メモリ材料グループ〕
1)今までに開発した光/磁気変換、電場/磁気変換などの機能調和材料の超五感センサ及び脳型メモリとしての優位性及び際立った特性を明らかにした〔川合〕。2)開発したバイオ化学イメージセンサやエリプソメトリセンシング手法を駆使した複合バイオ化学情報の2次元可視化とバイオチップへの展開をはかった〔岩崎〕。3)電界制御構造の導入等により光センサ・メモリ動作の高温化をはかった。また、磁性酸化物膜と多結晶GaNダイオードの積層構造を作製した〔朝日〕。4)周期的に並んだ量子細線の光学的特性とレーザーへの可能性の評価と選択ドープ量子細線の電気的評価を行った〔中島〕。5)一軸配向FePdナノ粒子2次元分散膜を用いた垂直磁化特性、光磁気特性の評価と自己組織化を利用した粒子配列膜の作製を行った〔弘津〕。
〔エネルギー・環境調和材料グループ〕
1)昨年度達成した光エネルギー変換システムに集光機能を付加した高効率の光エネルギー変換システムの開発を行った(坂田)。2)光エネルギー捕集機能をもつ光学活性側鎖型ポルフィリンーイソシアニドポリマーを創製した(高橋)。3)DNA核酸塩基を電子供与体とする光電子移動反応速度の制御と高効率光電荷分離を実現した(真嶋)。4)異物排出膜輸送タンパクの結晶構造解析、異物排出タンパク遺伝子ライブラリのポストゲノム解析、完全Cys走査変異体を用いた膜タンパク質トポロジー形成原理の解析を行った(山口)。
〔医療・高齢化用ナノ材料グループ〕
1)溶液内化学反応を用いたナノ組織形成プロセスの探索を行い種々のナノコンポジットを作製し、力学的特性に加え耐摩擦摩耗性やナノ組織と特性の相関を明らかにし、優れた生体用ナノコンポジット作製指針を得た(新原)。2)向きの揃った多数の微細孔を有するポーラスステンレス鋼、ポーラスチタン・ポーラス形状記憶合金を作製し、その微細孔に薬剤,生理活性物質を含浸、徐放化させるための技術を開発し、レーザー・アブレーション法を用いてポーラス金属表面にハイドロキシアパタイトをコーティングさせ生体適合性を付与、更に動物実験により医用機能性を評価した(中嶋)。3)配向制御した有機マトリックス中で、物理的、化学的な刺激を加えながら軟骨細胞を培養し、秩序化された構造の人工軟骨材料を合成し、これを骨類似の傾斜型セラミックスと接合し生体アフィニティブな人工関節の開発を行った(菅沼)。
〔コンピュータ支援材料設計グループ〕
1)光誘起や電場誘起による透明強磁性体を用いたデバイスのデザインを行った。これにより電子およびホールドープによるスピントランジスタ、負の電子親和エネルギーを持つスピン放出デバイス、および電圧誘起による磁性体デバイスのデザインを行った。また、実験グループと共同して、デザインに基づいてこれらのプロトタイプのデバイスの創製を行った(吉田、溝口)。
〔極微プロセッシンググループ〕
1)ハイブリッド型のDNA回路を構成し、プローブ顕微鏡により電気的・磁気的特性を明らかにした(川合)。2)STMによる高分解能不純物分布の測定の可能性を調べた。断面TEMによるCdSe量子ドットの観察を行った(中島)。3)原子間力顕微鏡によるナノ陽極酸化プロセスを用いた大規模ナノドットアレイ等の作製とこれらの光・磁気・センサ特性を明らかにした(岩崎)。4)BNナノチューブへの水素ガス・ナノワイヤ内包、及びHREMによる精密原子位置決定法を確立した(菅沼)。5)FePdナノ粒子の規則化過程の高分解能電顕その場観察、電子線ホログラフィーによる磁気構造生成過程の観察などを行った(弘津)。
