Research Abstract

1 総括班
(1)総括班会議を年2回開催し、次年度以降の活動とネットワーク運営のために必要な措置を行った。
(2)総括班事務局においてニュースレターの発行、ホームページによる情報公開と情報交換
(3)第4回「海半球ネットワーク」シンポジウムを平成12年6月に開催した。
(4)「フィリピン海-中国大陸横断」長期臨時観測計画の終了とデータ解析を統括。
(5)国際シンポジウムを平成13年1月に開催した。
2 海洋島観測班(1班)
(1)カメンスコエ(カムチャッカ半島)観測点の改修を行った。
(2)パラオ観測点の記録システムを移設した。
(3)各観測点の保守点検と一部ソフトウエアのバージョンアップを実行した。
(4)ウランバートル(モンゴル)でGPS連続観測の観測点を新設した。
(5)インドネシア、フィリピン域でGPS繰り返し観測を実施した。
(6)ロシア極東地域、サハリンでGPS繰り返し観測を実施した。
3 海洋底観測班(2班)
(1)海底孔内高性能地震観測点(WP-2観測点)を北西太平洋に増設した。
(2)海底設置型広帯域海底地震計(CMG-1センサー)によるWP-2観測点近傍における長期観測を継続した。(1号機の回収および2号機の設置・回収)
(3)三陸沖海底孔内高性能地震・地殻変動観測点JT-1とJT-2の観測を継続させた。
(4)海底設置型梢広帯域地震計と海底電磁力計による長期観測アレー(フィリピン海)を回収(用船を利用)した。
4 システム開発班(3班)
(1)北西太平洋における電磁場変動の長期観測(装置の回収)を行った。
(2)三陸沖日本海溝の陸側における3年間のGPS/音響の精密測位観測を開始した。
(3)三陸沖日本海溝の陸側における3年間の海底圧力群列観測を開始した。
(4)ハワイ沖深海底でGPS/音響の精密測位観測の試験を行った。
(5)フィリピン海で長期観測中の稍広帯域の海底地震計の回収・再設置を実施した。
(6)海底埋設型海底地震計の基本設計・モデル実験、間隙圧の測定装置の改良を行った。
(7)モンテンルパ(フィリピン)とマジュロ(マーシャル諸島)に地磁気観測点を新設した。
(8)既設5点における地磁気観測の継続、海底ケーブルを用いた電位差観測を継続させた。
(9)海底ケーブルの電位差観測データ解析に関するウッズホール海洋研との共同研究を行った。
(10)超伝導重力観測の継続とグローバルな地球変動に関する解析をすすめた。
5 データ処理解析班(4班)
(1)海半球海洋島地震観測網、超伝導重力観測網、GPS観測網、電磁気観測網の各データセンターを海半球ネットワークデータセンターとして統合した。
(2)波形インバージョンによる3次元地球構造を求め、マントル対流解明の鍵となる微細構造を明らかにした。
(3)西太平洋地球表層運動およびマントル対流下降流の実体についてモデルを提唱した。
(4)非球対称電気伝導度分布をコアのトロイダル磁場を推定することにより求めた。
(5)固体地球-大気・海洋系を1つのシステムとみなす常時地球自由振動論を展開した。
