Research Abstract	(1)化石人骨の研究結果第3層で発見された全資料のクリーニング・接合・復元作業を行った結果、同人骨が、1993年度発見の第1号埋葬人骨と同年齢(約2歳)のネアンデルタール人骨資料であることが確定、同資料を第2号埋葬人骨として定義・登録。 (2)旧石器の研究結果第3層で発見された旧石器の比較形態学的研究を行った結果、同資料が、ムステリアンタイプの中期旧石器であることが確定し、化石人骨の研究結果を裏付けた。 (3)動物化石の研究結果第3層で発見された動物化石全資料の同定を行った結果、野牛、サイ、イノシシ、シカ等の比較的冷涼湿潤気候に適応した哺乳類が全組成の約半数を占めることが判明した。 (4)化石人骨の三次元データ化スイス、チューリッヒ大学マルチメディア研究所において、第2号埋葬人骨全資料のCT形態計測法にもとづく三次元データ化を実施した。
