| Research Abstract |
(1)化石人骨の研究結果
第3層で発見された全資料のクリーニング・接合・復元作業を行った結果、同人骨が、1993年度発見の第1号埋葬人骨と同年齢(約2歳)のネアンデルタール人骨資料であることが確定、同資料を第2号埋葬人骨として定義・登録。
(2)化石人骨の三次元データ化
第2号埋葬人骨全資料のCT形態計測法にもとずく三次元データ化を実施し、そのデータを加工・編集実体モデル創成の準備を行なった。
(3)第2号人骨の実体モデルの創成
2号人骨の三次元データを用いて実体モデルの創成に取り組んだ。
(4)旧石器の研究成果
第3層で発見された旧石器の比較形態学的研究を行なった結果、同資料が、ムステリアンタイプの中期旧石器であることが確定し、化石人骨の研究結果を裏付けた。
(5)動物化石の研究結果
第3層で発見された動物化石全資料の同定を行なった結果、野牛、サイ、イノシシ、シカ等の比較的冷涼湿潤気候に適応した哺乳類が全組成の約半数を占めることが判明した。
