Research Abstract	微生物は,生物多様性条約締結に示されるように,国益に関わる貴重な生物資源として認識され,各国でのこれらへの保護政策は強化されている。本センターに保存する病原真菌・放線菌は世界に誇れるもので,更なる充実を目指し本年度もこれら特性を有する菌株の収集,保存に力を注いだ。また同時に,それら保存・収集菌株の遺伝子情報を得るための研究を展開した。病原真菌領域では,まず輸入真菌症原因菌についてHistoplasma capsulatumの分子系統,Paracoccidioides brasiliensisでは実験動物血液からの分子同定法の確立に成功した。Candida属菌では,稀な分離菌C. dubliniensisの新たな分子同定に有用な遺伝子群の指摘,最大の分離菌であるC. albicansではイントロンに基づく遺伝子多型,本菌の病原因子の1つ考えられている二形性形成に関わる菌糸形成細胞から得られた遺伝子群について新たな知見を得た。Trichosporon属菌については,Intergenic spacer 1(IGS1)による臨床分離株の高精度同定に関するデータを得た。ミトコンドリアチトクロームb遺伝子に基づく系統発生学的研究ではAspergillus section Flavi,Aspergillus section Nigri,Rhodotorula及び関連菌,黒色真菌症原因菌Exophiala jeanselmeiについて新たな成果が得られた。皮膚糸状菌では,Trichophyton mentagrophytesについては,RAPD法を用い,その迅速同定,種内多様性についての新たな知見が得られた。二次代謝産物の生産性との課題においては,抗真菌活性を有する新規物質を病原性放線菌,病原性真菌から得られた。これらデータは保存による遺伝子動態を見る上で何れも重要な指標となり,今後に活用される。
