Research Abstract	平成10年度文部省科学研究費基盤研究(B)(1)(展開)の成果に基づき,大規模コンピュータシステムに対する次世代信頼性評価技術を体系化を行った.つまり,コンピュータシステムを構築する7つの異なる研究専門グループによって多角的に新しい信頼性技術を検討した.コンピュータ技術については福岡,紀,菅沢,山田,データ伝送技術については中川,三道,ネットワーク設計技術については木村,コンピュータ保全技術および基礎数理については河合,海生,木島,統計的信頼性試験については土肥,田中がそれぞれ担当となり,全体の取りまとめは尾崎が担当した.また,大規模なシンポジウムを開催し,異なる分野の幅広い研究者層から意見を収集した.さらに,新しい信頼性評価技術を実現するために,多くの民間企業の協力も得られた.特に,専門グループによって協議された指針やシンポジウムにおいて抽出された信頼性評価技術に関する成果を民間企業に所属する技術者にフィードバックし,次世代コンピュータシステムの実用化を検討した. (1)第3,4回研究準備委員会の開催:平成10年度に開催された準備委員会とシンポジウムで議論された内容を吟味することによって,平成11年度に開始されるべき研究分野の内容を調整し,研究組織を再構築した.また,各専門分野における現在までの研究成果を整理・統合することにより,信頼性技術シンポジウムの準備を行った. (2)平成11年度信頼性技術研究シンポジウムの開催:前年度のシンポジウムに引き続き,大規模コンピュータシステム信頼性に対する学術研究発表会を実施した.ここでは,前年度までの問題を克服し,次世代信頼性技術に対する具体的なイメージを定量化することに主眼を置き,意見交換を行った.
