| Research Abstract |
リー群上の不確定性原理について研究を行った。まず実変数関数f(x)とそのフーリエ変換f^^<^>(ζ)がC>0とab>1/4なるa>0,b>0に対して
|f(x)|≦Cexp(ax_2,|f^^<^>(ζ)|≦Cexp(bζ^2)
が成り立てばf(x)は恒等的に0でなければならないというHardyの定理が半単純リー群Gに対しても成立することを証明し、論文として発表した。これは離散でない各主系列ごとPhragmen-Lidelof型の定理を当てはめ、離散系列に対してはMilicicりよる行列要素の漸近挙動の結果を用いて証明する。この結果はRiemmann対称空間、Cartan部分群の共役類が一つだけの場合およびSL(2,R)の場合にSitaramとSundariによって得られた結果の拡張である。
また昨年度CowlingとPriceによるHardyの定理のL^P版の運動群への拡張を行ったが、これの半単純リー群への拡張についても現在研究中である。
