Research Abstract	本年度は,国際シンポジウムJoint Symposium on Bio-Sensing and Bio-Imagingの共催として,研究発表会(H13.8.2-3,山形)を開催し,海外からの研究者や各研究分担者間の情報交換を行った。シンポジウム開催時に総括班会議・全体会議を設け,研究組織全体の運営方法について討議した。また,研究成果報告会を各班ごとに行った(2月上旬)。各研究項目A:「単一細胞機能評価の新手法」,B:「単一細胞バイアビリティイメージング」,C:「環境シグナル応答細胞の創製」はそれぞれおおむね計画通り目標が達成していると判断された。また,連携研究の推進を図る努力を各分担者に要請し,その結果,次のような連携が構築されつつある。すなわち, (1)A班はストレスシグナルの強度を精密に制御する技術と,対応する細胞応答のリアルタイム測定技術の開発を目指す。この細胞応答測定に際して,蛍光イメージング先端技術でB班と連携。また,「細胞種-ストレス種-細胞応答」の組合せで,より利用しやすい新規細胞の開発に関してC班と連携。 (2)B班はバイアビリティの指標を検索し,そのイメージング技術を極める。ストレス応答やアポトーシス関連に関連した新規遺伝子に基づくバイアビリティ指標を考える上でC班と連携。これらに基づいて,次年度以降もさらに研究の発展性と緊密性を増すために次のような改善点を提言した。 (1)細胞内シグナリングの交差解析を行うためには,共通の細胞,共通のストレスシグナル,そして密接に関連した,異なる遺伝子の組合せについての解析が重要なので,連携による関連遺伝子解析をする。 (2)新規遺伝子の関してもプロモーター解析までは独自に進める。
