| Research Abstract |
本年度は、前年度に一般化優対角行列の判定方法として反復型の改良を行い、それにより一応の成果を得たことを踏まえて、この判定法を実際に出会う問題に適用し、この手法の有効性について更なる確認をした。

平成12年7月17日〜21日:第9回 International Congress on Computational and Applied Mathematics(Leuven,Belgium)、
平成12年10月1日〜06日:第4回 JSME-KSME Thermal Engineering Conference(神戸市)、
平成12年10月6日〜8日:日本応用数理学会(東京都)、
平成12年10月16日〜19日:第1回 International Conference on Information(福岡市)、
平成12年11月20日〜22日:京都大学数理解析研究所共同研究集会(京都市)等において、順次発表を行った。また、この研究期間に、本研究グループは、7件の論文発表(別に記載)も行った。
我々は、反復型の収束過程をより分析することで、一般化優対角行列が持つ固有の特性を知った。このことから直接型の判定法の開発を試み、一部のH-行列に対しては、Yi ming Gaoの判定法よりも演算量が少ない方法の開発に成功した。
今後の課題は、より多くのH-行列に数値実験を施し、数学的妥当性の証明を行うことである。
