| Research Abstract |
(1)代表者:櫻井は流体の自由用面問題の漸近解析をテーマとして以下の研究を行った.完全流体の微小振幅波に対する線形化方程式は平面波解e^<i(k・x+W(k)t)>の重畳で表すことかできるが,分散性があるために波面の形状は初期波形に含まれる波長成分により全く異なった時間発展を見せる.W″(k)≠0における漸近形は停留位相の方法で求められることが知られているが,W″(k)=0なる波長成分に対してはAiry関数を用いた漸近形で表せることを証明した.
(2)分担者:小池は状態拘束制御問題において,近似最適制御の構成を行った.従来,状態拘束制御問題では,対応する値関数がみたすHamilton-Jacobi方程式と境界条件を決定し,粘性解としての一意性を示す研究が行われていた.ここでは,制御問題としてより重要なフィードバック最適制御に対応するHamilton-Jacobi方程式から直接導いた.
方法には,領域近似による収束性・inf-軟化子による粘性解の近似・super-differentialの単調性公式等,粘性解理論の洗練された技巧が用いられている.
(3)分担者:福井はn次元ユークリッド空間内の曲線について変曲点の一般化としてflattening pointsの概念,及び頂点の一般化としてのrounding pointsの概念を定義し,基本的な性質を解明した.また,それらの指数の概念を定義し,立体射影で指数が変化しないことも示した.
