| Research Abstract |
本年度の活動としては、(1)分担者の王が帰国する前に、野外調査準備会議を開催し,(2)2月19日から30日間、雲南省西部のBaoshan、Tengchong両地塊、およびChangning-Mengllan縫合帯において野外地質調査と岩石・化石試料の採集を実施した。
野外調査における主な成果として次の点があげられる。1)Baoshan地塊のWanlushl sectionにおいて、Bingma層とDaaozlとの境界関係が整合的であることを確認した。2)Wanlush層玄武岩類にはドレライトからなるfeed dikeが含まれており、リフティングに伴う玄武岩活動の可磁性が明らかになった。3)Tengchong地塊のKongshuhe層には石灰岩層は存在しないことが明らかになったため,同層の時代論は再検討を要する。4)石炭系Monghong Groupのslguaplng層からダイアミクタイトを発見し、れき種を検討するための組織的試料採集を行った。5)Changnlng-Mengllan縫合帯の海山性石炭岩体として、Yutangzhalsectionを調査したが、石灰岩形成プロセスを特定するには到らなかった。6)Baoshan地塊南部のYongde層(Blngma層相当)から、ゴンドワナ型植物化石を発見した。ベルム紀中期までBaoshan地塊熱がゴンドワナ周辺部に位置したことを示す重要な発見と言える。7)Baoshan地塊南部のXlaoxinzhal sectionからは、多量のベルム紀サンゴ類(Thomaslphyllumなど)を採集した。8)Baoshan地塊北部のDlngllazhal層の堆積環境と形成過程を特定することが、この地域の地史復元の鍵であることがより鮮明になった。今後は、同層の既存sectionを手がかりに、堆積相の変化を周辺域まで追跡する必要がある。
