| Research Abstract |
本年度は当初計画に基づいて、次のことを実施した。
1.国内外の主要機関の資料(文献、資料)収集とその整理を行った。
2.国内分担者会議を広島大学で開催(2001年7月28日)して、昨年度の訪問調査の報告と本年度の計画と実施に関する具体的な検討を行った。また、広島大学高等教育研究開発研究センターの客員研究員から関連情報の知見を得た。
3.外国資料調査のためアメリカ、スイス、オランダ、フランス、中国を対象に研究分担者・協力者が訪問し、システム及び機関レベル等における情報収集活動を行った。また、個別大学機関レベルの戦略的組織改革の実態をケーススタディ調査によって実証的に明らかにする作業を行った。
4.アメリカ(ペンシルバニア大学)で開催された6カ国教育研究プロジェクトの最終会議「Global Education for the 21st Century : East Meets West at the Culminating Conference of the Six-Nation Educational Research Project, October 7-10, 2001」に出席した。高等教育プロジェクトの報告を行うとともに、各種の討議に参加し、各国の戦略的組織改革に関する情報交換を行った。
5.6カ国教育研究プロジェクトの一環として、報告書「University Reforms and Academic Governance Reconsidered」(RIHE International Publication Series, No.8, Research Institure for Higher Education)をまとめて、2002年3月に出版した。
