Research Abstract	辞書外来語データの整備日本語(外来語辞典およびアクセント辞典)、中国語(香港広東語の外来語辞典で北京語との分節音対応が容易に行なえるもの)、韓国語(外来語辞典)のデータの収集、整理を平成12年度に開始し、現在も継続している。特にデータベースを精緻化し、多様な観点からの分析に耐えられるものにすることに配慮している。音声データの収集と分類英語、日本語、中国語(北京語および広東語)、韓国語の母語話者にそれぞれの外来語を発話させて音声データの収集を行い、音声分析によるラベリングを経て、データベース化する作業を開始して現在進行中である。一部についてはすでに完成している。音韻・韻律理論の構築と外来語データへの適用収集したデータの性質を分析し、形式音韻論の観点からの整理、分析を行った。この観点からのサンダースの研究の成果を"Lexical Borrowing from English into Mandarin Chinese"および"Cognitive Restructuring in the Southern Min and Mandarin of Taiwan"等として発表した。吉本は韻律構造と統辞構造のミスマッチを解決する理論およびそれを応用した日本語の韻律生成文法を提案して"A Bistratal Approach to the Prosody-Syntax Interface in Japanese"等として発表し、また佐藤は"Reconstructing Temporal Structures in Japanese Texts"として発表した。
