Research Abstract |
The purpose of this research was developing the system that can reasonably estimate the whole indoor air environment by combining governing equations of fluid dynamics and measured environmental parameters, 3-D airflow velocity, temperature and mass concentration of pollutants. In this research, newly proposing the Unified Cost Function method as a combination technique of measured data and governing equations developed a useful estimation system. This system can give each environmental parameter a role of the tracer for estimating own field and also the fields of other parameters trough governing equation that correlate different kind of parameters. Moreover, an image processing system that measures 3-D dimensional air flow velocity using smoke visualization images was built, and it was used effectively in the case of the validity actual proof of the estimation system.
