Research Abstract	石川,木村,宮岡は球面内のガウス写像が退化する部分多様体について研究し、複素2次曲面内のある条件を満たす複素部分多様体から、複素ユークリッド空間内の特殊ラグランジュ錐が構成できることを示した。加藤はコンパクト複素多様体でケーラー計量を持たないものについてその構造の系統的な研究を可能にするため,ある種の指標とその性能を調べた。横山は同相類をかえない変形の決定が、DS-Diagramを拡張することにより解決することに関して、3次元多様体の不変量への応用,例えば結び目理論、被覆空間への応用を考えた。田丸は非コンパクト型対称空間の中の等質超曲面に関して,非可算個の例を構成し,またいくつかの条件下での分類に成功した。石田は4次元多様体のEinstein計量の存在に対する新しい障害,4次元双曲多様体のSeiberg-Witten不変量に関するLeBrun予想とsymplectic幾何におけるTaubesの結果とのある関係を見い出し,3次元多様体の同変Seiberg-Witten不変量の導入を行なった。宇田川は6次元球面内の概複素曲線のなかで,5次元球面に含まれるものの概複素曲線のなかでトーラスになっているものの構成を行った。梅原は3次元双曲型空間における平均曲率1の曲面および平坦な曲面の研究を行い,平坦な曲面に関するOsserman型の不等式の等号条件を満たす種数1の新しい曲面の具体例や,曲面の特異点の形状に関する判定条件を与えた。
