Research Abstract

本研究では,システムLSI設計技術を今後の高度情報化社会を支える基盤情報技術として捉え,システムLSIに十分な機能,性能,品質,信頼性,安全性を与えるための統合的な設計技術の確立を目指すことが目的である.具体的には,高機能・高性能なシステムLSIを短期間に設計する技術,必要最小限のエネルギー消費を実現する設計技術,社会基盤に求められる信頼性・安全性を実現する技術の3点を,応用技術,ソフトウェア技術,設計支援技術,設計手法,テスト技術,製造技術のすべての観点から検証し,新しい技術体系と学問体系を再構築することを目指した.平成16年度は,平成17年度に実施を計画している新キャンパスにおける個人認証システム実験のためのICカードシステムの仕様策定および開発を行った.学生証や職員証のかわりとなるICカードに1Mビット程度の個人ID系列を持たせ,サービスごとに異なる部分系列を利用して双方向認証を行うシステムを試作して,実現上の問題点ならびに利用法に関する課題を抽出した.具体的には,学内の職員や学生の認証システム・セキュリティシステムを50人程度の被験者を対象に実験的に構築し,開発した技術の評価を行った.また,提案する認証方式の安全性に関する理論的検討,最終実現におけるLSIの設計・製造技術に対する消費エネルギーを始めとする課題の整理も並行して進めた.
