Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は主として地域研究に蓄積された紛争和解のノウハウをもとに、新たな国際関係理論構築のための基礎研究を行うものである。その研究体制は地域研究の研究者と国際関係理論の研究者とがおよそ半々という形を取っている。H27年度および28年度は両者の対話を継続して行ったが、H29年度は主として研究全体のとりまとめを行った。研究会は京都で3回開催し、地域研究と国際関係の橋渡しを通した理論構築の可能性について議論を深めた。しかしながら、理論構築自体はまだ不十分であり、さらなる研究の継続が必要とされる。これは地域研究に蓄積された知が国際関係の理論構築になかなか繋がらないという問題のためであり、国際関係理論側の更なる研究が必要とされることは明らかである。ここで重要になってきたのは、基礎的な存在論的概念の再検討であり、具体的には時間、空間、言語、等の概念について詳しく検討していく必要性が明らかとなった。
具体的な研究成果としては、H27年度および28年度に行ったシンポジウムの原稿をもとにイギリスRoutledge社から編集本の刊行を行う予定であるが（契約済）、29年度においては出版予定の論文に加筆・修正を加えた。また29年度においてもTime and Ethicsと題して国際シンポジウムを行い、その研究成果はを1年に同じくRoutledge社から出版するための準備を行った。しかしながら、これらの研究自体はまだまだ不十分であることは否定できない。今後、特に国際関係理論側の更なる研究が必要とされる。
