Outline of Final Research Achievements

From this research, we linked the 4 billion-year history of the Earth's biodiversity with continental migration, and created a science learning tool that can be experienced like a game. It was designed to feel the connection of life while traveling freely with a smartphone for the spectacular drama of continental migration and biological evolution.
The attraction of this research lies in the fact that it is equally expressed from microorganisms to animals and plants without giving a spot only to the age of highlight organisms without omitting this 4 billion-year timeline. The following URL shows that we must change the relationship between humans and nature, that the connection of life is important, and that there is only one earth.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

世界人口の急増によって100万種におよぶ生物が深刻な危機に瀕している中、今年のG7環境相会合では生物多様性の保護、回復に対する取り組み強化のメッセージがあった。このために、社会全体が変わる努力をすべきで、まさにこのメッセージを後押しするタイムリーな研究開発となった。
ウェブデザイナーとのコラボレーションによって魅力的で新規性ある優れたサイトを誕生させることができた。英国オックスフォード大学栄誉博士、BBCネイチャープログラムのプレゼンターであるジョージ・マクガバン氏は、「今までにない画期的な生物多様性のコンテンツだ！」と言った。
