Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This project has significantly contributed to the development of both education and research in intercultural co-learning by carrying out a multi-layered investigation and disseminating updated research results both domestically and internationally. A research team consisting of researchers and practitioners from various backgrounds conducted an extensive literature review and case studies both overseas and in Japan, which resulted in a booklet of intercultural co-learning practices of over 30 cases at Japanese universities as well as a textbook targeted for practitioners in Japanese higher education. The research project hosted various symposium, seminars and workshops that promoted active dialogues among researchers and practitioners of intercultural co-learning in Australia, Europe, USA, and Japan.
