Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We evaluated the effect of the Interprofessional education to investigate to compare the attitudes to participants' healthcare teams by the university students that are engaged in multi-occupational collaborative education (IPE group) and university students that do not have multi-job collaborative education (control group) with the modified Attitude Toward Health Care Team Scale (modified ATHCTS). The questionnaire survey were conducted the before and after the first year's joint lecture for IPE curricula and the before and after the multidisciplinary collaborative practice for third-year students. The scores for patient-centered care were significantly higher in the IPE group, which indicated that multi-occupational collaborative education may be beneficial to attitudes towards healthcare teams.
