Outline of Final Research Achievements |
1) In an attempt to elucidate host factor involvement in apoptosis regulation, we found that inhibition of Caspase-9 restricted, while Apaf-1 promoted, Chlamydia pneumoniae infection in Hela and MEF cells. 2) To clarify the YAP signaling involvement in the host-pathogen interaction by using small fish medaka as model system, we carried out RNA-seq analysis of YAP knockout medaka. We found that YAP regulates many of the key genes involved in host immune pathway.
