Outline of Final Research Achievements |
During the generation of organs, cells should migrate not in a random walk but in a directional mode (collective migration). In this project, we measured mechanical and biochemical information within collective cell migration, and revealed an aspect of the mechanism of collective migration. As a result, we found that cell-cell junction is essential for the collective migration.
