Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In this year, the following research items were conducted: (1)Research on long-term seismic responses of suspension bridge of suspension bridge using long-term seismic monitoring of Hakucho-suspension bridge from 1999-2006.Research includes system identifications for modal parameters extraction, finite element evaluation and structural inverse analysis to clarify performance of tower-girder connection. (2)Research on serviceability concern on long-span cable-stayed bridge during earthquake. Using the structural finite-element model of Yokohama-Bay cable-stayed bridge developed in the previous stage of the research, a further study on the vehicle stability when crossing the bridge during earthquake was conducted using 2011 Great East Japan earthquake as the case-study.
