Outline of Annual Research Achievements

口径1.05m木曽シュミット望遠鏡の広視野カメラTomo-e Gozenについては,H31年4月に,他研究費の寄与により本研究当初計画を上回る計84チップのCMOSセンサを搭載した視野20平方度のカメラに拡張された. これを用いて, H30年11月より部分的に開始していた高頻度突発天体広域探査観測を継続的に実施した. 当初の2時間間隔での探査観測戦略から, R2年1月頃に,30分間隔での探査観測を部分的に行う戦略に移行し,爆発直後の超新星のより密なデータを取得することに成功しつつある.Tomo-e Gozenを用いて初めて早期発見した超新星(Ia型) SN 2019cxx等,多数の近傍超新星を世界の他のプロジェクトと独立な発見を行うことに成功した. 他のプロジェクトで先に発見された天体に対しても, 爆発前後かつ他プロジェクトでの観測的制限のない時期において,Tomo-e Gozenデータを用いて明るさの上限値をつけることにも成功している.また,機械学習を用いた突発天体検出の最適化のアップデートも行い, 発見作業の効率化を実現した.
多波長輻射流体計算コードSTELLAを用いて,特殊な光度曲線進化を見せた短時間変動天体KSN2015K,超新星1987Aに似たII-peculiar型超新星2018haの多色光度曲線を再現する理論モデルを構築した.
電波で非常に短い時間(数ミリ秒)光る高速電波バースト(FRB)の起源を探るため,FRB121102に対して, Tomo-e Gozenと電波望遠鏡との同時観測をR2年3月に行った.
銀河面に沿って約2000平方度の領域を一年間で15回程度反復観測し、多数の変光星の近赤外光度変化の様子を捉えた.校正データをアップデートし,これまで取得した膨大なデータの再解析を行った.カタログデータの公表にむけて論文を執筆し,関係者に回覧した.

本研究により完成したTomo-e Gozenカメラを用いた科学運用開始について(4)にて記者会見を行った.また本研究における超新星の発見について(1)にてwebリリースを行った.
