Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Following the original schedule, we developed a template cataloging expression of caring practices, and tested it with head nurses at the university hospital. We developed a workshop-based approach to provide a format for nurses to express caring experiences. A template and procedure of the workshops was developed, which took the form of nurses being directed to create individual texts on cases that showed their nursing, followed by combining these into newspaper front pages with titles and orally sharing these stories. The template was used to reflect upon these experiences.
A system prototype was designed to collect experience data and a demonstration video was created to explain its use to nurses.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
We followed the original schedule, developing the workshops and cataloguing caring expression.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In H30 we will develop the introduction procedure of the developed workshops and system, specifically for the autonomous expression activities in workplaces.
We conduct evaluation and improvement of the system and workshops.
We will disseminate the results via website, and through scholarly publications.
