| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
1．浅海底マッピングの高度化：本研究課題で実施したマルチビーム測深海域のデータ処理を完了させた。また、マルチビーム測深と航空レーザー測量のデータを結合させるため、石垣島周辺海域の一部および石西礁の一部を対象として、測深方法の違いによる精度の検証と図化手法の検討を経て、陸海のシームレス地形図を作成する手法を確立した。
2．マルチビーム測深エリアでの学際研究：スーパーコンピュータ・地球シミュレーターを用いて、高解像度海底地形図を基にした1ｍグリッド海底地形データを用いた波浪シミュレーションの高度化を実施した。マルチビーム海域での現地調査では、石垣島名蔵湾の干潟に広がる海草帯および沈水カルスト凹地部にてプッシュコアを用いた掘削を実施し、堆積物コア試料10本を採取した。また、石垣島名蔵湾および石西礁にて、フォトグラメトリー用の写真撮影並びに三次元モデル作成実験を行い、これまで実施した範囲より、広範囲のフォトグラメトリー三次元モデルを作成することが可能との見通しを得た。さらに、研究グループで調査を進めてきた戦跡水中文化遺産USSエモンズにて潜水調査を実施し、特攻機である九八式直協機のランディングギアや燃料タンクなどを新たに発見した。2021年3月には、久米島ハテノハマにてRTKドローンを用いた空中写真撮影を行い、フォトグラメトリー三次元モデルの作成を行った。2018年から毎年2～3月に実施してきたハテノハマの空撮は4年目となり、経年変化を論じることができるデータが集積しつつある。また、白色の無植生サンゴ洲島において高解像度で確実な地形モデルを作成する方法論を完成させることができた。
3．研究課題の総括：「沿岸域の先進的学際研究ワークショップ2021」を、2021年3月6日に九州大学共進化社会イノベーション施設大会議室とオンラインのハイブリッドで実施した。
