Outline of Annual Research Achievements

角度分解光電子分光データの機械学習で得られた自己エネルギーの顕著なピーク構造が、電子の分数化によって生じることを示し、共鳴非弾性X線散乱の実験を行えば分数化の更なる証拠が得られるという予言を行ない、予言は実験で実証された。数十種類の鉄系超伝導体の第一原理有効ハミルトニアンを導出した。近年発見された銅酸化物類似物質であるニッケル酸化物超伝導体においても、物質予言などを行った。
長年の論争の対象だった量子スピン模型での量子スピン液体の存在の高精度立証に成功し、また分子性結晶の5種類の化合物に対する第一原理的な網羅計算を行い、実験的に示唆されていた量子スピン液体の再現にも成功した。さらにそのスピン液体が1次元と2次元を繋ぐ、dualなスピン液体であることを明らかにした。これらの複数のスピン液体では、どれもスピン励起がギャップレスになりスピノンに分数化することを示した。以上、電子やスピンの分数化が複数立証された。
またイリジウム酸化物 Ca5Ir3O12 の有効ハミルトニアン導出を行い、この物質が中程度電子相関系であること、スピン軌道相互作用とフント結合の競合系であることを示した。
典型準結晶であるペンローズ格子の超伝導秩序変数がフラクタルな実空間構造をもつ新奇超伝導となることを見出した。また磁場下で超伝導秩序変数の符号が空間変調するエキゾチック超伝導状態が現れることを示した。さらに、準周期構造上の電子の分布についても調べ、サイト間相互作用の働きが周期系とは異なり電荷分布を大きく変えることを指摘し、これをハイパーユニフォーミティーという概念で特徴づけた。
ナノサイズのトポロジカル磁気構造である「スキルミオン」の電流駆動ダイナミクスやマイクロ波駆動ダイナミクスをシミュレーションおよび解析理論により明らかにした。その結果、この磁気構造が豊かなエレクトロニクス素子機能を備えていることが分かった。
