| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
当該年度では、香港科技大学で開催されたThe 1st International Conference on Econometrics and Statistics (EcoSta 2017) において、``GARCH model for quantile income time series data and forecasting income inequality''の研究報告を行った。また、慶応義塾大学（三田キャンパス）で開催された研究集会「第1９回ノンパラメトリック統計解析とベイズ統計－」において、``A test for changes in Japanese income inequality''の研究報告を行った。
また、オーストラリアのMonash大学に滞在して、Monash大学およびSwinburne大学においてそれぞれ研究セミナーを行った。
共同研究者の各務和彦はロンドン大学で開催されたThe 11th International Conference on Computational and Financial Econometrics (CFE 2017)において、``On the effects of the monetary policy on the income inequality in Japan: Evidence from grouped data'',の研究報告を行い、トリノにあるCollegio Carlo AlbertoおよびウィーンにあるVienna University of Economics and Businessにおいて研究セミナーを行った。
これらの研究報告は日本の家計調査データを利用して、不平等度の変動を時系列モデルで捉える研究と、不平等度の変化にたいして検定を行うものである。

本年度のいくつかの研究報告を通じて、研究の新しい方向性を見出しえたと考えている。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
これまでの研究を論文にまとめて投稿することを行うとともに、不平等度の計測について、所得の不平等度だけではなく、健康の不平等度も含めて計量分析手法を開発することを検討している。

厳密に金額を合わせることができなかったためである。差額は少ないので次年度の影響はほとんどないと考えている。
