Outline of Annual Research Achievements

目視で化学反応をトレースする評価法を確立しコンビナトリアル法と組み合わせることで触媒的不斉ドミノ反応条件を迅速に見つけ出す手法の開発を目指した。既に、1) 反応基質の化学反応による構造変化に基づく蛍光強度を利用する解析方法や、2) 光学活性体の円偏光二色性を利用する高速大量スクリーニング法が開発されている。しかしながら、1) の手法では不斉収率を決定できない。2) の手法は複数のキラル中間体が混在する試料は解析できない。また、これまでの不斉収率を液晶の色で決定する方法は、液晶ユニットが反応基質に直接炭素-炭素結合を介して導入されているため汎用性に乏しい。そこで反応終了後に除去可能かつ共役π電子系発色団やアゾ色素化合物等の助色団を導入した保護基をデザイン・合成した。反応中の基質の構造変換を色調変化で確認することが可能か精査した。最適条件を絞り込み、キラル生成物をコレステリック液晶の添加剤として用いることで、可視光領域の光反射層の色調から目視での不斉収率決定試験を行った。
本年度は、Rauhut-Currier/[3+2]環化連続反応をモデルに検討を行った。反応が終了すると発光するマーカーの合成研究では肉眼での認識は困難なものの、トリアリール基を導入することでヘテロ[9]ヘリセンに蛍光特性を導入することができた。本マーカーは、固体状態では燐光特性を示す知見も得られ、今後は、機能発現に必要なユニットの単純化を行う予定である。
