| Research Abstract |
図形や空間の対称性は群の作用によって記述される。この研究では空間の対称性が二つの群の可換な作用で記述されている時に、二つの作用に対応する二種類の不変量(距離やエネルギー、角度などに相当する幾何学的不変量)がどのように関係するのかを、不変式論や表現論を用いて研究した。空間の対称性が良い場合に、群軌道、空間上の関数空間や群の作用で不変な微分作用素たちの間に対応がある(テータ対応・カペリ恒等式)ことを明らかにしたのが主要な結果である。
