| Research Abstract |
3次元多様体、特に結び目の補空間を主な研究の対象としてその基本群の有限体上の線型表現、それを用いて定義される不変量、及びそれらと多様体の幾何学的な構造との関係について研究した。特に表現としては2次元特殊線型群への表現を扱った。具体的にはコンピュータを用いて,与えられた結び目に対する具体的な線型表現、線型表現の共役類の個数、twisted Alexander多項式の計算を行い、それらを用いて結び目の補空間の間の全射準同型写像の存在や写像度の計算などに関する系統的な研究を行った。
