Outline of Annual Research Achievements

6. 変調プラズマによるナノ粒子/ナノワイヤ生成試験 変調波形は矩形波とし,変調Duty, 変調率を変更して,原料間歇投入した変調熱プラズマによるナノ粒子/ナノワイヤの生成を試み,生成ナノ粒子を様々な手法で分析した。さらに原料変調投入タイミングに遅延を導入し,その影響を調査した。
7.原料間歇供給した変調熱プラズマにおける分子スペクトル二次元観測とラジカルの輸送現象の把握 熱プラズマに原料粉末を投入すると原料が蒸発し,前駆体分子が生じる。これを高速度カメラ+イメージング分光器を用いて分光観測した。これにより特定波長の2次元分光画像観測をトーチ部および各チャンバ位置に対して行い,TiO,SiHの生成タイミング・生成場所とその輸送現象を把握した。
8. MITP下流へのクエンチングガス変調投入による急冷効果の検討  原料の変調投入のほか,クエンチングガス投入も変調し,時空間的な制御を行った。変調条件,ガス流量,ガス導入タイミングなどを様々に変化させてナノ粒子生成を行い,それらの影響を検討した。
9. 変調プラズマへの原料変調同期導入による原料投入と高効率ナノ粒子・ナノワイヤ生成の最適化 変調プラズマに原料を同期して間歇導入し,最終的にAl(Fe)-TiO2ナノ粒子の大量生成800g/h@20kWを実現させた。
10. 電磁熱流体解析によるMITP内ラジカル輸送の検討 独自開発している電磁熱流体解析コードを,Ar+Si熱プラズマの温度・流速分布の計算用に変更した。クエンチングガス導入時,変調熱プラズマトーチ+チャンバ内の温度場・流速場を計算した。原料粉体粒子の運動と蒸発についてもモデリングした。
11. 均一核生成モデルの検討 原子が核生成され,凝縮・凝集を通じてナノ粒子が形成していく過程のモデル構築を試みた。まずは定常熱プラズマの単純なSiナノ粒子生成に適用させた。
