| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
前年度までの南大洋航海において蓄積していた動・植物プランクトン、仔稚魚期魚類、およびゲノム解析用試料に加え、令和2年度の観測(漂流系観測、海氷採集)で得られたセンサーデータおよび試料の分析・解析を実施し、国内・国際学会において発表した。
南大洋インド洋区のトッテン氷河に定在する4つの渦列を現場および衛星観測から明らかにし、国際誌で公表した(Mizobata et al., 2020, JGR Ocean)。また、海洋における食物網・物質循環研究に重要な試料固定液の検討を行い、炭素・窒素の安定同位体比および遺伝子解析に有用な固定液を確認した(Sano et al., 2020, LO methods)。本研究課題を含む観測データをPolar Data Journalで公開し、オーストラリアとの連携のみでなく、国際的なコミュニティーとのデータ共有に貢献している。
