トランス・サイエンス問題の一種である科学技術の社会問題に焦点を当て，問題の解決に資する知識共創型アーギュメンテーションの教師教育プログラムの開発と検証を継続した。前年度に実施した本格的な実験授業の成果評価の一部を，The 13th Conference of the European Science Education Research Association（ESERA 2019）で発表した。教師教育用のコンテンツ開発につながる各種データを収集するために，神戸大学附属小学校の総合的な学習の時間（第5学年の2クラス）で実施した実験授業の成果について，5つの学会発表を行った。(1)意見対立や複数論点を踏まえた意思決定能力についての，日本の小学生におけるベースライン調査をThe 13th Conference of the European Science Education Research Association（ESERA 2019）で，(2)小学生向け教育プログラムによる意思決定能力の向上について日本教育心理学会総会で，(3)発話分析に基づく学習プロセスの検討を日本科学教育学会年会で，(4)プログラムで獲得した意思決定能力を，他の社会問題にかかわる問題解決場面で活用できるかどうかの検討を日本科学教育学会研究会で，(5)学んだ内容を教室外に持ち出せたか，学習成果の可搬性についての結果を日本発達心理学会で，それぞれ発表した。また，これらの検証結果から明らかになった問題点をもとに，小学生向けの教育プログラムの内容を改善し，さらなる実験授業を実施した。現在，収集したデータの分析と発表準備を進めている。
