Outline of Annual Research Achievements

放電プラズマを生体に作用させ,ヒト細胞への抗腫瘍作用や農産物の成長促進,酵素活性といった生物学,農学的な応用が盛んがであるにもかかわらず,バイオプラズマ応用でのプラズマと生体との相互作用は未知であり,その解析が急務である.研究実施者は,プラズマ生成するイオン,ラジカル,光といった個々の反応種の作用をその場で実時間に観察してプラズマと生体の相互作用の解明に取り組んでいる.本研究では,プラズマと生体内のフリーラジカルの挙動が細胞内化学反応(代謝)の変動の検出に発展させ,キャピラリー電気泳動質量分析検出による解析を進めている.本年度は,(1)プラズマと液体の相互作用の理解:プラズマが合成する化学種のうち代謝影響の候補物質を各種有機物分析手法で進めてきた.複雑な生体エネルギー代謝系に焦点をおき,プラズマ生成物の違いによる代謝物変動のプロファイルを始めることができた.(2)プラズマ代謝経路マップの作成:細胞内酵素反応をプラズマ刺激入力に対する細胞システムの応答ととらえ,プラズマ作用の候補物質の作用,機能を解析することを始めることもできた.プラズマと有機物の反応を解析するため,核磁気共鳴法をもちいてプラズマが影響して生成される合成物の分析を進めた.(3)プラズマ代謝制御:代謝機能を制御する方法を確立する,基盤知識が集積しつつある.最終目標とする自然物と人工物の融合利用に向けた「プラズマ生物科学」の創成に向け,着実に成果を得ることができた.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

プラズマが合成する有機物には比較的短寿命で構造変化してしまう化学種があるため,核磁気共鳴法を世界に先んじてプラズマ装置と結び付けダイナミクスな解析を始める
