Outline of Annual Research Achievements

Theoretical development of a technique for rapid rotation of a polariton condensate. Key results include establishing the ideal parameter space for achieving a FQHE of polaritons, establishing a technique for rapid rotation of polaritons, and observing an Abrikosov lattice of vortices under this rotation technique. A paper is currently under review on these results.

Experimental development of an apparatus for rapid rotation of a polariton condensate by using phase-locked Laguerre-Gauss modes. Experiments for demonstrating rotation in progress and will continue.

Experimental establishment of a fabricated platform for creating potential lattices and harmonic trapping profiles for polaritons of both high photonic and excitonic fractions. A paper is currently under review on this result.
