Outline of Final Research Achievements

Clinical study on the effects of rehabilitation interventions (mainly Occupational Therapy and secondary Physical Therapy / Speech Therapy) using applied techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy for rehabilitation patients with cerebrovascular disorders and osteoarthritis. A total of 42 stroke patients were treated with CBT and counseling interventions to clarify the situation. From the comparison results with the 56 CVA control group, a significant difference (p <0.01) from the control group was obtained. From the above results, it is considered that the therapist is required to be more educationally involved than the physical function approach, and the necessity and importance of psychological intervention in rehabilitation is clearly shown.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
