Outline of Final Research Achievements |
X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy was applied to evaluate the active pharmaceutical ingredients for the first time. The method could reveal the chemical environment of the X-ray absorbing atoms, indicating that the method would be a potent method for evaluating the APIs in pharmaceutics including cubic-phase nanoparticles.
