| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The activities of the grant were supposed to be directed at organizing two discussion forums with representatives from Japan's 29 dental schools, Japanese and international students, and education officials. However, the approved grant funding was lower than the proposed funding. The proposed funding was based on a previous grant which supported the transportation and accommodation expenses of participants. Another reason was the pandemic, which led to subsequent activities being canceled. However, part of the results were published at BMC Medical Education journal through a paper entitled "The implementation of the Japanese Dental English core curriculum: active learning based on peer-teaching and learning activities".
