Outline of Final Research Achievements

In addition to gathering information for diagnosis, medical interviewing is an interviewing skill that aims to educate and motivate the patient and build trust with the patient. This is an essential skill for dental professionals. However, conversational behavior has been neglected in medical and dental education.
Therefore, after clarifying the actual educational status of "medical interviewing" through a questionnaire survey, we discussed the learning process with collaborating researchers and developed a rubric based on step-by-step reflections. In order to provide education on medical interviewing, it is important to clearly state medical interviewing outcomes prior to admission, at the end of clinical practice, and at the end of clinical residency.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

医療面接について卒前教育の実態がアンケートにより明らかになった。OSCEにより行動科学的な視点での学びの重要性が大きく変化してきているが、まだ教育機関により教育内容に対する捉え方に違いがみられ、その幅は大きいことがわかった。教育の方略としては、各マイルストーンでの評価基準、評価シート、そしてマニュアルを作成し、学修者自らが到達レベルを可視化できるようにすることで、自己の成長が省察できる学修システムは重要な役割を担うと考える。さらに、国民が期待する患者中心の医療を現場で実践する医療面接の教育システムの開発は、安全な医療の提供においても社会的意義がある。
