Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Mechanism of resistance to acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibiting herbicides in multiple-herbicide resistant paddy weed, Echinochloa phyllpogon, were investigated. Our research revealed that the resistance is mainly caused by the identical herbicide metabolizing enzymes that had previously been identified to cause resistance to acetolactate synthase inhibiting herbicides.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
