Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study is to clarify the clinical judgment that is the accumulation of specialized knowledge and skills possessed individually by midwives and to develop an in-service educational program on clinical judgment.
In antenatal care, midwives collected information necessary for maternal and fetal health status and interpreting whether a pregnancy is normal. Based on the interpretation, they coordinated medical institutions as abnormalities, selected care for a more normal course, or selected care for not becoming abnormal. Based on these results, we developed a clinical judgment education program using instructional design.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
