Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we investigated the association among masticatory function, dietary intakes and the development of sarcopenia in old-old Japanese. In the result, 83-year-old people whose occlusal force is low at 80 years old didn’t maintain adequate nutrition. The occlusal force of people who was defined as sarcopenia at 86 years old was significantly lower than other people.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
