Outline of Annual Research Achievements

As the starting year of the project, I have conducted deeper literature review and background study on the organic trade, China's agricultural trade, and international organic standard and certifications.
Meanwhile, by attending relevant seminars and conference, I have reached out to researchers and other stakeholders in relevant industry to facilitate the coming survey implementation and data collection in the following years.
At last, I have draft the preliminary survey for the coming year.

Current Status of Research Progress

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.

Reason

The difference between Japanese fiscal year and Chinese fiscal year has made it a little bit late for the field investigation for survey revision as originally planned.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

I will discuss with Chinese professors who will help and support me in the data collection to 1. investigate field; 2. revise survey form accordingly; 3. collect data.

Causes of Carryover

Because I have postponed my trip to China for field investigation.
