Research Abstract

ATP合成酵素(F_oF_1)は、H^+の流れで駆動するF_oモーターと、ATPで駆動するF1モーターが、共通の回転シャフト(c_(10)-γε)を持つことによって、H^+の流れでATPを合成する。この基盤研究(S)では、F_oF_1およびF_oモーターの原子構造の解明、回転の分子的な理解、F_oF_1によるATPの合成と分解の制御、を追究する。
