| Research Abstract |
局所的な液相エッチング領域を加工対象物の表面上において速度制御して走査することにより、平面基板の平坦度を向上させる数値制御ローカルウエットエッチング法を開発した。本研究では、液晶ディスプレイ作製用の大型フォトマスク基板の高能率・高精度加工を目的として直径125mmの大口径ノズルヘッドならびに2段階修正加工プロセスを開発し、1辺の長さが1mを超える超大型基板を実用的な加工時間で目標とする10μm以内の平坦度を達成する目途を得た。
