Research Abstract |
この研究では、精子が雌性生殖器内で子宮から輸卵管へ移動し卵管膨大部で卵子と融合するまでの過程で起こる仕組みを明らかにするための基礎研究を推進する。具体的には、マウス子宮や卵管での精子の受精能獲得機構や卵管膨大部での卵子卵丘細胞複合体による精子選別機構などに関する研究を行い、哺乳動物雌性生殖器での精子機能制御機構に関して総括的にまとめる。
