Research Abstract

研究成果は多岐にわたるが代表的なものを2つ挙げる。(1)一原子層以下のFeを吸着させたInAs劈開表面において、2次元電子の磁気抵抗曲線における明瞭なヒステリシスを観測した。さらに詳細な測定を行い、Fe の超薄膜が2次元スピングラスを形成していることを強く示唆する結果を得た。(2)強相関シリコン2次元電子系に対して希釈冷凍機中で磁場方位をその場制御した実験において、ランダウ交差時に擬スピンの強磁性ドメイン構造が形成されることを示す結果を得た。電気伝導の異方性は、面内磁場に直交する方向に伸びたストライプ構造を示唆する。
