Research Abstract

線虫C. elegansをモデルとした行動遺伝学的解析により神経回路における情報処理機構を解明する。
(1) 感覚情報の統合と連合学習の制御を担うシグナル伝達系を同定し、それが働く神経回路を明らかにする。
(2) 記憶の保持に着目して、記憶の保持時間を制御するメカニズムを明らかにする。
(3) 嗅覚順応におけるRas-MAPK 経路の働きを、介在ニューロンの働きやMAPK が制御する下流因子に着目して明らかにする。
(4) 体内環境に基づき神経機能を制御するメカニズムを明らかにする。
