Research Abstract |
We obtained multipotent precursor cells derived from keloid tissues. We found that gene B over-expressed in keloid derived precursor cells, plays a crucial role in keloid pathogenesis, because this gene is closely concerned with up-regulation of collagen gene expression. We propose that both of keloid derived precursor cells and gene B may be a good target for a novel therapy.
